Trump in his fervour to kill the government is driving the USA into the tank. Who is that for? Follow the money; it certainly will not help the population and his MAGA base.
INTRODUCTION
Trump’s support is going down and some are arguing that shortly it will go off the cliff. In the first two weeks of his presidency, he has taken a sledgehammer to all that was American, he faces more than 30 federal court actions and has already lost the first four.
People drank his Kook-Aid, which he continues to sell. But, each day, more and more of the population is now getting an understanding of what they voted for and how that decision will affect every part of their lives.
Let’s take a look at a few of the issues.
THE GAZA STRIP
We have a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and it needs to be rebuilt.
We have Donald Trump trying to kill USAID where a lot of the help would have come from, and out there saying he supports ethnic cleansing – moving the people against their will, to clear the space to allow Trump and his friends to build seaside condos.
That is his solution. That is illegal and puts the US at risk. It undermines the allies that the US had; they will not cooperate on national and international security issues which will affect US security at home and abroad.
US INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
It will impact US markets – countries will not want to trade with the US. They will go elsewhere for their purchases. The US needs global markets to support its industries, whether it is agriculture, autos and much more. Who will want to do business with a country that they can no longer trust?
US ENEMIES
Destroying international relationships that have been built opens the door for the countries and regimes that used to be US enemies (Russia and China) to move in to fill the void. This will expand their influence and put the US at greater international and national risk.
THE KOOK-AID
Donald Trump is becoming an isolated island both at home and abroad. Trump’s support at home has tanked in just two weeks, dropping to 47%. His vice-president Musk’s support is heading in a similar direction. The creation of a government of the rich for the rich by appointing up to nine different billionaires to the administration has led to 70 percent of the population opposed to Musk, opposed with only 19 percent in support.
We all know that Trump lies through his teeth. Well, I guess I should not say, “all” because there are a great number who continue to drink the Kook-Aid that Trump serves - that Trump is correct on all things and is the persecuted chosen one.
I just cannot fathom how anyone can believe that all the court actions, illegal and criminal against Trump are a huge conspiracy. Or that the US government should be destroyed to remove Woke and the “socialist lunatics.” But that be what it may, there are those who until something hits them between the eyes, will hold onto their glass of Kook-Aid and their beliefs.
GETTING HIT BETWEEN THE EYES
Hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. That suggests one ignores unethical or immoral things avoiding knowledge of or participation in wrongdoing.
That is where we are at. But slowly, some are dropping off around the edges. That is why Trump’s approval is tanking. And it will continue as people get hit in the face with the impacts of what Trump and his vice-president are doing to destroy the US government and all that it does nationally and internationally to make people’s lives better.
Just wait until an elder does not get their monthly financial assistance, or a family does not get food stamps. Add to that the 120 million people who could lose their medical coverage, whether that be Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance or Medicare, or cannot anymore access private health insurance.
How will that make America great again?
WHY ARE PEOPLE AGAINST OBAMACARE?
Sorry, I digress, but this issue, in my view is, one of ignorance. I do not intend to be disrespectful to anyone’s beliefs, but I cannot, for the life of me understand how people can be against Obamacare – or the Affordable Care Act – both one of the same, just called a “political” name by some for political purposes. And for millions of people who drank the Kook-Aid. The sleight of hand, the lie worked.
What is Obamacare?
Also known as the Affordable Care Act, it is a comprehensive healthcare reform law enacted in the United States in 2010. Its primary goal was to improve access to affordable healthcare for all Americans. It is not an insurance program but provides the following benefits:
It prohibits insurance companies from denying coverage or charging higher premiums based on pre-existing conditions such as diabetes or cancer. You cannot be denied coverage or charged exorbitant rates.
With Obamacare, individuals and families can purchase health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace, giving them the freedom of choice. They can also get financial assistance in the form of premium reductions to make coverage more affordable for those with lower incomes.
How can anyone be against that? I just do not understand how that can be believed to be a socialist program; where people have the freedom to make their own choice of whether they want to participate, or which coverage they want.
Did you drink the Kook-Aid that Obamacare was a socialist scourge brought in by those far-left lunatic Democrats who are out to destroy the country? That this is one step toward a socialist state? If that is the case, then possibly you need to give up your social assistance and access to all other “socialist” government programs that are there to make your life better every day. No more:

THERE IS A GOVERNMENT PROGRAM THAT AFFECTS YOU
No matter what one thinks, there is a federal government “socialist” program that affects your life every day. They may not all be perfect, but people accept them without even thinking about it. They accept help from the “socialist lunatic” programs, which are all designed to make your lives and that of your loved ones better.
How does tearing them down, destroying them, make America great again?
Be careful of what you wish for – or voted for. Your decision could be coming back to kick you in the teeth.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
I do not have the answer, but I have the questions. To argue for change, someone must see a benefit. Who could that be? The people that Trump said he was for, his MAGA supporters. Or did he use that as a ruse to help him and his rich friends?
Follow the money and you will see that ripping the government and its programs apart will not put more money in your pocket, and if you still believe that it will make America great again, there is still a long way to go with you.
What you think of now is your right and your business. But when you get hit in the face with the reality of the personal impacts, I hope you start to think that all of Trump’s lies were not the Kook-Aid to drink.
